Hi! I’m Taylor,

I wanted to start this blog as a way of expressing my love for books, literature, and everything having to do with reading. I want it to be a place where I, as well as my readers, feel safe, secure, loved, and brave.

 

This blog is to show everyone that reading isn't just a hobby, but a passion. Reading can pull you entirely into another world if you let it, and let me tell you, it is a blessing and a curse, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I want this blog to show everyone the perks of what a book can do. It can broaden your imagination by forcing the reader to picture the characters in their mind, by bringing them to life, by stringing together details about the scenery and how it makes the characters feel, and more than ever, I want my readers to challenge themselves by reading a book they never thought they would.

 

At the beginning of each blog post, there will be a song lyric. The reason why I pick the certain lyric is that it was either a song I thought of while reading the book or a lyric that I think best describes the book or one of my favorite characters. Besides reading, listening to music is another passion of mine. I love the thought of trying to incorporate more than one passion into this blog, so I hope that my readers understand why I picked the certain song or lyric.

 

As a reader, if you purchase one of my recommended books, I will consider myself lucky. This isn't a blog of pressure, but a blog of art. I hope to show everyone that reading can help you in ways that will surprise you, whether it be the books I recommend or the music I relate to the book.
